The 4-day weekend was extended to 5 days. Stayed home ill today. Feeling much perkier now though. My head doesn't feel like its in a vice and my stomach has quit churning. As my Mom used to ask me, "Why is it you always start to feel better about the same time that school lets out??" I always looked at it as a miracle, Mom always figured I was faking a bit... well, not ALL the time. I shall make it to work tomorrow, although I'm certainly NOT looking forward to all the work piled up for me. Sigh. Spent most of the day watching TV in a sleepy stupor with my loyal cat Ashley by my side. She loves it when I stay home sick so she can curl up with me. Oh, the roof frame for the hot tub gazebo was installed today. We've decided to do a metal roof, so the snow will slide right off. Lesson learned: don't have cedar for the roof of the gazebos, they soak up way too much water from melting snow, then freeze, then fall down. Can't wait to get back in that hot tub and feel those luxurious jets on my feet, back, neck, legs, etc. and maybe even get goosed by one. Now that's a thrill! Woooo! ;-)
